Peppercorn grey industrial -Master bedroom
Our master bedroom is on the smaller side. It has beautiful wooden floors in a cool pattern. With 3 windows and 2 doors, it’s always hard to find a good place for a king size bed. It ended closer to 1 wall with a narrow run on my hubby’s side. (Hehe)
With everything a bit cramped, I wanted a big impact. I painted a wall dark, placed smaller nightstands and installed industrial lights on the wall. These lights are insanely cool, very functional and easy to hang. Measuring/leveling is the sucky part. I use lasers! A laser level and laser measuring tool. AND IT SAVES ME a lot of hassle with the hubster. 😉
The color I used is Sherwin & Williams Peppercorn grey. It’s deep, on the cooler side and works great with white. Our warm wood floors compliment the color fantastically.
And now, the after! I’m so happy how this Nordic-inspired, industrial-clean master bedroom makeover turned out. Sherwin Williams’ Peppercorn grey is one of my top 5 paint colors.
My favorite reading nook!
Tip! Hang those curtains way higher then your windows. It makes your room look bigger and brings your eyes up!
Don’t be afraid of darker shades! By only painting 2 out of my 4 walls. My bedroom still has plenty of light. This Nordic-inspired industrial-master bedroom makeover is one of my favorites. I love waking up in this room and enjoying coffee in bed. The curtains and the colors make it nice and dark for slow morning sleeping in, and it’s made even more “hygge” with lots of blankets and pillows around me. I have to admit I kind of see pillows as a kid sees stuffed animals. My husband thinks I have a pillow addiction, but I love surrounding myself with lots of different layers and textures. And it’s such an easy seasonal switch!
