The HYGGE candle hack

Hello September, I missed you. After a long beautiful summer with 6 weeks at home in Sweden. My cup is filled up. I’m longing for darker days and lots of candles and hygge. “Hygge” is a danish expression, it roughly translates into cozy. Hygge engenders a feeling of contentment or well-being. Celebrating everyday moments; like watching a candle burn and sipping on something warm all snuggled up in a comfy chair.

Fill a concrete or ceramic planter bowl with whole bean coffee and cinnamon sticks. Add a candle in the middle. Make sure no beans are stuck underneath the candle. Light your candle and enjoy the amazing aroma filling your home. As the coffee beans & cinnamon sticks warm up it brings that extra cozy, hygge hug filled home. So easy and it is a beautiful decor piece as well.
